I voted randomly and came up with Vader LOTF. I don't think any melee mini will be able to GMLS and stand toe to toe with him. You spelled Scourge wrong

You know, looking at single large point beats is about the worst way to compare Luke. This is a squad game. Beating Luke will be all about using your squad properly.
However, the best answer to killing Luke with any support in 150 is 4 Vong JHs, Shaper, Yomin, Wicket.
It doesn't matter if Luke kills your figures, if you are putting 60dmg on him per JH, he dies anyways, no matter what DJM does :)

I am going to go with none of the above, the best way to beat him is to use your more activations(in the most common pt values 150 and 200) to out menuver him, and take out his squad first, which cant be too strong, then gang up on him. i dont care if he gets 6 attacks just dont get next to him, remember he only has 1 activation and you have x amount more.

yeah, I agree with billiv15, vong are the way to do it, but of what was on the list I think it would have to be a very lucky GOWK.

out of the selection GMY but, id choose lord vader, no way of defensing the attacks and can do 120 at a time.

I would say Serenno or GOWK, Serenno because Luke still needs 6s against him but he and GOWK's Offensive output are pathetic.
No one figure or maybe even two (perhaps GOWK and Serenno together if we were playing for fun) could do it.

I have to agree with the people saying that one single piece may not be able to defeat GMLS alone. But if I do have to pick one piece from the list, I'd pick Dooku of Serrano because endless blocking is really nice and he has a higher defense and attack against GMLS than GOWK. Unfortunantly, he doesn't have Force Renwal.
Of the pieces that aren't on the list that I think would do well against GMLS, I pick a combination of Durge, Jedi Hunter, and some other good Jedi Hunter (possibly Aurra Sing, JH).
Or mabey Nomi Sunrider. If she uses her Sever Force ability, Luke instantly becomes a lot less effective and much easier to kill. Or Sion and holoSid.

I do not think that Mara or Lord Vader would work because Luke could just use Force Defense to prevent Lightsaber Assault. I would say Darthe Vader, Legacy of the Force in the hopes that your opponent loses track of the amount of damage you have done to Grand Master Luke Skywalker. It is a bit of a longshot, but I think someone else with Djem So Style stands the best chance.

I think the Vong will kill luke faster then anyone else. However if it is 1 on 1 I would put my money on Boba Mercenary becuase with Intuition Luke will never get his triple and he will burn thru his force points chasing and trying to deflect shots.

No beatstick can stand up to GMLS in a toe-to-toe battle. Simply put, with Triple/Twin, Djem So Style Mastery, a sky-high attack rating, and Lightsaber Defense, he can put more damage on you than you can put on him. You have to find more creative ways to kill him than taking GMLS straight on.

Vader Sotj could destroy him, because you have to resolve all effects before gmls ends his turn. in effect they would destroy each other.
