Here's the scenario:

I have Luke Skywalker, Champion of the Force. My opponent attacks and injures another character in my squad.

Can I then use Force Alter on Luke's next turn(assuming he hasn't gone yet this round), to alter the attack roll against my other character?

Or do I use it immediately when the other character takes damage?

Force Alter is used after the attack roll is made, but before the damage is applied.

Ok. So say I am player A and I have Luke Skywalker, Champion of the Force and I dunno, Chewbacca...

Player B hits Chewie with an Imperial Stormtrooper. Even though it's not Luke's turn, can he use Force Alter if the Stormtrooper hits?

Same question, but what if Luke has already activated?

As long as Luke is within 6 of the attacker, yes, he can use Alter. It does not have to be his turn and does not matter if he's activated or not. (think of it as a defensive power like Block, which is used on the opponent's turn)

Ah, I see. Again, (just checked the Glossary), sure enough... within 6 of the attacker and basically at any time deemed necessary.

However, it appears it must be used when the successful attack is made, and not on the next round or after the damage has already been dealt.

Thanks guys, much clearer now. ;)
