I couldn't blame him... the game is pretty expensive, not enough time, people aren't available to play around the area... GOWK getting banned... those are probably the reasons so I respect that decision... I for one am planning to leave the game myself for "financial" reasons

Really? These new 40 miniature sets are whats getting me back into the game because they are more affordable. $110 dollars and I am only missing one miniature I want. As far as players in the area, I can definitely see that.

I am getting out because #1 yes it is expensive, #2 it took up allot of my time, so I think it would be a good thing to get out of,
and no, I dont really care that GOWK is getting banned, I never used him.
but yeah the main reason is I wasnt spending as much time with my family, friends as I was before I was in the game,
I did think hard and long about it and came up with it restricted me from doing other things that I should have/wanted to do.
and the 40 piece sets didnt make it any less expensive really it still costs the same for a case/booster.
and last reason I knew it was the right thing to do.
I did enjoy the game very much until a lot of our players were out and when it started making me want to get more and more, because I dont need more and more, that is why I dont buy cases and only bought very few boosters.
but thanks again to all who helped make it a funner time. :)

I too am starting to lose interest in this game, I have been here since ROTS and still do enjoy a game here and there but you can invest alot of money into this, and the area that I am in, it is just not worth it because no one plays.  I will try to hang in here for a little longer.

Why AdmiralAckbar, the mad cap, where you goin with those minis???
Our group is experiencing the same thing. Maybe it's just lack of initial interest, but we are trying to make it work. I've had to limit myself to 3 main factions that I like and sell the rest just to keep up with it. (baby on the way will do that)

Sorry to see you guys go, but its understandable. Minis are not cheap, and lack of play groups can be tough if you aren't willing to work on it yourself.

I actually spend alot more time with my son now as we have something that interests us both. We are more active socially because we have a huge group at our LGS playing plus I can usually pull around 5-6 guys to my house on any given weekend for some fun games. I find it less expensive now than before 40 piece sets for sure. I'm hoping SWM will be a nice thing for us for a long time to come. Sorry to see others leaving, but alas that is with any game.
