I would celebrate that Thrawn is canon again, but there was really no point in making him non-canon, so it should have been a given.

He wasn't half spider, was he? Cause that would make total sense.

Then let us celebrate a huge leap in the canonicity of Rebels by including Thrawn BigGrin

I agree he never should have been removed, but its amazing to see him back now legit. Season 3 also looks to be the best one yet. A friend and I were discussing the trailer and we agreed that this season looks to be really good

After rewatching the trailer, other things of note to me include new character design (They kind of botched Thrawn, he has pupils now), what sounds like the voice of Ventress, the apparent origin of Wedge as an Imperial pilot, and the return of Hondo Ohnaka.

The Ventress thing is just the same voice actress in a different role

I am super stoked to see season 3! THRAWN IS BACK!!!!!!! can't describe how happy i was when i saw him introduced in the trailer. His dialogue is very much Thrawn and how he was in the books and they got an excellent voice actor to play him. If you haven't watched Star Wars Rebels yet, get on that, cause this show is doing a ton for long time fans of star wars and expanding the whole story of Star Wars even more! Star Wars The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels are in my opinion just as improtant as watching any episode of the Star Wars movies because you really get to see the characters developed way more than a 2-1/2 hr film can do. The Clone Wars saved Anakin's character from the awful portrayal of him in the prequels and Rebels is saving Darth Vader from the awful portrayal of Vader in Episode 3 ("NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"......Mellow Cursing ) Darth Vader in Rebels is exactly how Vader should be and he is definitive of the power and presence Vader had in Episodes 4-6.

Agreed on the pupils thing, but I think it's a design choice so that people know where he's looking. Otherwise, it might be a little difficult, but you could do it. Also, Dark Troopers and probably more Old Republic references and Mandalorian expansion. I think KOTOR and TOR have a shot at being canon as TOR has a new expansion coming out, so they're not just ditching the project.

Kyle's dead. They gave his design to Kanan, his stormtrooper-gone-good arc to Finn and his role as one of the rebels who helped steal the Death Star plans to Rogue One (which is just turning Jan into Jyn and making her a strong rebel who don't need no man).

I love Kyle more than anyone, but he's gone. I've made peace with it.

Kanan is now just a smash together of all the Order 66 survivors. He's Kota, blind with a top not. Jax Pavan, Twi'lek companion and use of guns. Ferus Olin, the shoulder armor.

I'll put money on it that General Rom Mohc isn't behind the Dark Trooper project.
