Well as we have the new SW movie upcoming I think it's a good idea to cover off characters from Fore Awakens that didn't get their time in the light. Also this is my wife's idea as its one of her favourite characters. So the challenge is to make a new Leia from TFA. General, Solo, Organa. You decide annnd go.
Rules
1. The character must be canon and from the chosen faction when required. They can have affinity, but the character must start in the chosen faction. EDIT: Since Canon is all screwed up, just a known character is fine.
2. You may update any existing versions you already have and/or create a new one. You may update/create several versions of the character but you must ultimately select 1 you wish to run with. (this must be done by the schedule below)
3. Place a hyperlink in this forum to make it easier to find your character. You can just post the stats or image here but if changes are needed it would be easier (and save space) if you just used a Hyperlink (If you don't know how to post Hyperlinks in a forum setting please ask and we will help you. It's not hard )
4. Voting works as follows, pick your three favorite customs based on accuracy to the character, design, balance or whatever you decide makes the best incarnation of the challenge character. First place receives 3 points, 2nd place receives 2 points, and 3rd place receives 1 point.
6. To make things fair you must vote in order to win the contest. You must choose three characters entered in the contest and you may not rate or vote for your own character.
7.. The winner will be decided by how many points they receive. Ties will be broken by most 1st place votes, then if still tied, 2nd place votes and then 3rd place votes. If still tied, then the outcome is a tie.
8. you may not change or update the entered character AFTER the deadline.
You will have until Sat, Nov 12th, 2016 @8pm EST to get your submissions in. Anything submitted after this point will not be included in the voting.
Voting will start at 8pm on Saturday evening and end at 8pm EST on Monday, Nov 14th, 2016.
At the conclusion of the voting the scores will be tallied and the Winner will then post the next round

Nice choice! (For the record, I have yet to look at anyone else's entries, so this is 100% what I came up with just now.  ) http://www.bloomilk.com/Custom/27079/leia--resistance-commanderI know Han and Chewie weren't technically part of the resistance, and Wedge has totally dropped off the map (  ), but the point is to build the Resistance subfaction. It basically gives Han and Chewie access to synergy with the other TFA characters. Wedge... is just an abstraction. He SHOULD be there, and we don't know he's dead, so he might just be somewhere else. For once, I think I might need to drop the cost a little, but this is a piece (for once) I didn't want to flood with SAs. Sorry I forgot to vote last time...

Caedus: Cool simple and powerful commander piece
Donnyrides: ultra simple piece that does a lot for her squad reminding me of Leia's of old.
CC: after you explained it I really appreciate the strafe hate! Great job here!
Jen'ari: this one actually feels like the closest to what we see in the movie
Kam: haha I enjoyed the humour but seems like you went partial comedy and partial serious piece with the powerful CE. Also what does a hug do in SWM?
Laf: this piece screams the ambush scene from TFA, nice job!
Another great round and any one of these could do as a great base for finally giving us new canon Leia. Great job all and my final pick:

1st: Caedus - awesome job, great way to jump-start the Resistance subfaction. 2nd: donnyrides - I like how small the piece is. Low cost makes her easy to slot in. Camaraderie was a good call. 3rd: jen'ari - great flavor and nice CE. I like the Squad Assault + Coordinated Command (although no Relay Orders herself?). Force Sense was a nice touch too. Kamikaze - LOL. Reminds me of http://www.bloomilk.com/Custom/Set/1041. No Hug for Chewie is perfect! Lafcadio - If we went by names only, you would've been first  . Nice CE and abilities. Not to be a grammar-Naz... er, grammar-First-Order-ist, that's not what Camaraderie does. General Grievous - WOW! Sure, why not make a 50 point Leia . Great boosts, but a little on the powerful side for an old Leia - an not extremely useful until more Resistance pieces come out. But really cool!

If we want to go technical, the rules do say that you have to vote to win... (I don't mind waiting for for him though)
If he doesn't, I think CC has the most votes.
