So if I mount barriss offee, rogue jedi on thon, how does her mines interact with people?

If a character is mounted (or on a troop cart) any one adjacent to the character mounted is also adjacent to the passenger.

So, while Barris is riding Thon, anyone who moves adjacent to Thon will be hit by Mines.

I like the concept in theory, but I would think that most of the time you will be charging with thon and putting him and therefore Bariss adjacent to your enemies. Since mines only triggers when they move adjacent to her and Thon, it seems like it might not work as well in actuality. However, you could maybe play around with the idea of using Arfan Ramos and Tott Donetta to give superstealth and beast tamer to a Nexus for Bariss to ride and then they have to come to you.
