I'm definitely in the A+E camp - sometimes simpler is better. Also, I think you can toss Princess Leia into a lot of Rebel builds, as long as you have a good follower like Kanan, Luke Hero of Endor, or Han Smuggler she's great. While you have to build around Leia Commando, as you need something to trigger her CE.

My vote is biased no offense that I do not acknowledge V-sets. But regardless of that still L. A&E keeps a slight edge. Plus she comes with a specific miniature which is a bonus compared to a printed off card, humbly of course.

I don't really know why so many people are for the 20 pt.

19 pt Leia allows damage bonus to every attack. so if you have say Luke HoE and Ahsoka, Luke is getting plus 40 potential damage. Ahsoka is getting the same thing. The better thing is that you can get these in the same phase. Also, Cunning, Accurate, Stealth, and a surprise attack can be powerful. And if you dont se eyourself attacking and want to pick up a little more movement you can versatility into a different Leia or can become a diplomat with cunning attack. which is cool.
Son Of Skywalker goes well with her as well. 2 attacks at +4 +10 damage and add 10 more to each. Dropping 80 damage on that turn. just so many options.


With 20 pt Leia you get the extra attack and can do 50 with Luke, but you have to wait to use Ahsoka next round. Which screams using Dodonna and lots of activations. Not nearly as much options and to use it you use up an activation for the round and it does not allow for maximum damage output.

As the game moves to more uniques the 19 pt RC will become more and more attractive.

Their are a plethora of ways to cause damage on a character these days that are inexpensive and can be worth it.

Lol it's mainly just I was mad and hurt that the game was canceled. I didn't want v-sets to take over and make a million changes with so many small specific SA's and unknown small time characters. I didn't feel like the game was super broken. I thought if we left it alone, someone else would have possibly restarted the game. Especially with all these movies out and coming out. I loved buying packs and trading online you know the whole supply and demand. Thrill of the chase to finally physically hold the mint condition mini I was after brought tears to my eyes haha. To be able to obtain the whole set by simply printing it off wasn't thrilling, no chase. I liked the sculpts as well even to display them, I'll be the first to admit easily that the quality left them long ago, mostly after Clone Wars. K'Kruhk always looks nice though lol. I feel though that we could have prevented a power creep by making say in a tournament Boba BH less a beast or Lancers less n people like capt pancakes more playable, they could have tweaked stats and basically did a v-set release for each G-con that we could print off and build squads with while still being able to play the originals in a different tournament. Keep a tournament for the OG's and keep it interesting with a separate tournament that did change stats for a one time chase for the title. I really don't mind v-sets I just don't have the space in my heart for all of them. Life is busy. Plus there is so many of them. Eventually there will be a shortage of proxies and this vset will start to struggle I believe. Either way though I am grateful as it does keep this site up that I love and the community tight and alive. For that I can appreciate what v-sets have done for the game. It keeps the lungs filled with air. It's all I can ask.

I can understand not having "space in my heart" for them. Felt that way for many WotC pieces that I had no clue who they were. Having not watched the cartoon or read the books they came from.

I think the thing that often tips the scales to Princess Leia (A&E) that surprisingly nobody has mentioned is that's she's a movement breaker (of sorts). You can run a follower double speed and have them attack in one phase (assuming you have relay orders or Leia herself w/in 6).

That can be quite huge.

You can also levitate with Luke, use your Leia shot, use your regular attack,and then get out of LoS, only being in danger for one phase as opposed to being stuck there.

You have much more attack and defensive flexibility.
