I am confused as to why, when building a custom figure, it asks for a substitute miniatures, but that mini won't show up when you click on it.

The functions of the customs builder are an area I don't *work* on, but sometimes use, (vs the main character database that I mostly have edit access to), and I honestly don't know how it is intended to function, (guessing some features are incomplete) but thanks for noting the issue. I'm doubtful there will be any further development, but will add it to my own list of "fixes" to mention whenever I finally sort out the backlog of other issues...
