A Family in Balance- (Your squad must only contain exactly two other characters of any faction; both must be Medium and have Force ratings. An ally who spends Force points only once on a turn may spend this character's Force points instead of its own. This character is defeated if it activates with no ally with a Damage value greater than 0.) The way this is worded, would he not die the moment one character is killed in the squad? This ability says that he MUST contain exactly 2 other characters, Both Medium with a Force Rating. I know the end of this ability give a scenario where he would die, but unless I am misreading this, the moment someone else dies his squad becomes illegal? Is this just a wording issue with the ability or is there precedence for this with some other type of ability? The word MUST is the only thing throwing me off in it. It just seems like with that word you HAVE to meet the requirements at all times? Otherwise it would say MUST CONTAIN IN SQUAD BUILDING?
I view it as a "Prideful" type thing right now. Where Prideful ONLY kicks in if the guy with Prideful is the highest costing piece?
Also, If I run someone like Kreia, and someone rolls a 1 attacking her and they join my squad, does that character immediately die? Who gets the gambit points if he does die? Or is this a scenario where one ability would supersede another ability?
Any help here would be nice

"Your squad must only contain exactly two other characters of any faction" is a squadbuilding rule like Rival or Unique. It doesn't apply after the skirmish begins (except for Reserves, which is considered "deferred squadbuilding"). So defeated characters, Betrayal, Rakghouls, etc., do not interact with that part of the ability.
