Stuff that is still good:
Squads based around Yobuck
Squads based around GM Yoda
Squads based around Thrawn
Squads based around Rieekan
Squads based around Wedge
I think Vong are somewhat better now (although playing Ossus Guardians in a NR team might be the best way to "play Vong" at the moment), Sith are playable for sure with the new 20-point guys and Swapious, and OR might actually be OK maybe.
Rebels and Republic are the best factions overall, IMHO. There are probably more different, good Rebel squads than there are in any other faction.

What I'm seeing with the current post-JA meta shift:
The game is going back towards Melee
GMY is picking up the slack left by **** without a hitch
Factions are becoming more and more dependant on Mousies for CE extension
Leia and/or Kol are being thrown in almost every NR build
Vong are still the great monkey wrench of SWM
Sith are becoming more and more competitive
Swarm teams are largely unplayable, due to the twin scourges of Yobuck and Lancer
