There is still confusion about re-rolls and Vong (mine or others, not sure which). Went to a JA tourny and the rule was used : GM Luke may re-roll Djem So Mastery saves vs. Vong. Logic - that ability is Luke's therefore does not directly affect the Vong.
Using that argument Soresu, Makashi, Parry and Evade should ALL be re-rollable.

Argument 2 : These abillities are triggered by an attack so fall under the FI definition "cannot respond to it's attacks or abillities"

Are there FAQ's or rulings to support either argument??????

You cannot use Force Points to resond or reroll an ability in response to an attack. This is covered in the FAQ.

Confused can you use a FP to reroll a djem-so, soresu or any other combat style save attacking/defending against a Vong?
there was some debate in our last tourney.Sneaky

Cursing Jeez, you don't have to be a richard.
At our tourney, majority agreed that you could reroll djem-so with a FP.
I was looking for more insight,not insults.Sad

That was not the intent. I was curious in what was not understood.

Thanks. Went to Wizards and re-read (for the umpteenth time) and noticed the mention of Dark Armor and Evade as non re-rollable.YippieWoot I'm not confused (at the moment; on this topic)
Sithborg - As for Darthjak not being clear - the majority were confused.
As a wise man (Darthjak) once said "this isn't Car Wars" (the card game ).

If, in theory, someone had an ability like, oh...

Force Support: 1 Force Point: An ally within 6 may re-roll a save.

Could this be used to force a second character to re-roll, say, a Djem So or Parry save against a character with Force Immunity?

The basic idea is, if the force points are being spent by someone who isn't the one doing the attacking or defending.... how kosher would that be?
