Hopefully this will end this stupid dicussion once and for all. I also think GOWK being banned may be the start of others being banned ( such as Vader, Obi-Wan from starter).

lol @ bill, nice reply to that.. i say that they wont ban anymore pieces because if gowk was broken, the game wasnt before him & he just got errata'ed recently & the game was fine, so i dont see why they would go to older sets & start banning figures, dont make any sense especially obi & vader from the SS

Banning this piece is understandable, I can see why they did it. In tournaments we get the best of the best players making cool squads with interesting twists and commander effects and then someone just throws in GOWK and wins.
Seriously though if we are all so good at the game shouldn't we have a counter GOWK squad? If we can't beat him then we are out of ideas. Vong Armies or properly positioned Old School Thrawns would tear this guy apart. I've seen it done...I've done it...just stop whining. Next up: Ban the Ewok Hang glider! It's the cheapest piece what with all its strafing and such

I never liked GOWK i was also to lazy to by the starter set i voted yes hes too hard to get rid of and dont be worried if republic is not as competitive it still is and new luminara is coming out

yes, but then they block all the FUN articles in the general second with a bunch of fighting and arguing throwing all the good stuff onto page 2 or 3, and even then I've seen GOWK threads on those. Can't we just be rid of this, this THING?

Same as I posted on teh wizos boards.
Typhon Inc (DCI) voting for a lifting of the ban.
GOWK as is dominated DCI, and a change needed to happen. Unfortunately it was the change I didn't want to see. A knee jerk response to unban the character is also not the proper action to take for tournament play. Please correct the character then remove the ban.
I would like to see one of the following: 1) errata of the card, 2) a recosting of the figure, or 3) A counter built into the game.
Give me one or more of the following and lift the ban please.
