What pieces do you take with you and what do you take it in? All of your collection in a rolling suitcase? Just the teams you plan on playing? Back pack? Fanny pack?

In the past I've taken a squad for each of the events I'm playing in, 3 or 4 maps (folded and in cardboard mailers - I don't have mine laminated), and my entire Mandalorian faction. Basically, I took the Mandos because it's a small faction and it provided flexibility to build a squad on the spot if I wanted to and play it against any of the other squads I had with me in a pick-up game. Carry it all in a backpack.

and some dice. first year we were told we didn't need to bring anything had to buy another D20 and since we didn't bring minis, we played sealed, until we got enough pieces to make another squad. sealed was the best! you played for free! $30 got you 2 boosters, and you made your squad from that also water bottles snacks hand sanitizer breath mints comfortable walking shoes sense of humor camera to photo the cosplayers ( don't miss the Saturday parade ) a 10 ft pole to lift Darth Jim's jaw back up, if he sees Cat Women again

I usually go with a small tackle box or big deck box with the squads I will be using for events, a map rolled in a poster tube, and a backpack with snacks and a couple of drinks. Less to carry with you is a plus IMO, but like Jak said dont forget the little things you may need as well like Dice ad counters for marking damage and FP, a line of sight tool, ad I also try to take a small notebook and pen to keep score as the game is being played but you could also use the excellent skirmish tracker app that is available from Google play.
