Quick squadbuilding tournament... build the best Resistance squad you can. It must include only Resistance characters.
Very quick tournament: 24 hours to enter. 24 hours for voting. We'll use CCC style voting, but anyone who is following along can vote - you don't have to enter to vote. Winner will earn entry into another tournament.
Criteria is competitiveness. Try to win GenCon with your squad.

Shatter Beam & BB for doors. BB & Nien for cloaked enemies & Strafe. Rey for Ranger's Synergy. Rangers got 23d, Stealth & Sniper +15atk for 40 dam. Capt. has 25d, Stealth & Sniper +17atk for 40dam. Rey & Finn for some slingshot fun & a Medical Officer to heal them. May be as good as my 10th place GenCon Antarian Ranger Squad.

I think Han & Chewie still rule Resistance squads for the time being. So 4 healers and 5 Uniques? Or 1 healer and 7 Uniques? I think it works better to have more Uniques, so gandalf is ahead of CorellianComedian in my book. Of the non-Retaliatory Barrage squads, I went with Han GH and his Disruptive/NTMTO, partly because it's the only other option that has both Rey and Poe - they're both really good.

1st - General Nien Wexley with Poecaster by gandalfthegreatestwizard. Way to cram those Uniques in there! Nien Nunb is a nice call. No Rey is an interesting choice, but not unwarranted, I think. You have a surprising number of activations for a Unique-focused squad, but they're all useful, they aren't just random filler.
2nd - Stayin' Alive (Resistance) by FlyingArrow. Finn is a nice touch. I normally don't like using him, but here he's worthy 19 points just dying in the right spot - free barrage from Chewie AND a free shot from Rey makes you think hard about whether or not it's worth taking him out.
3rd - resistance by urbanjedi. So sad that Han doesn't get Leia's +4/+10, but nice-looking squad. Poe + Resistance Officer is a cool choice - Poe Double-Twinning at +14/30 a hit is pretty potent.
(question: if we're supposed to vote based on competitiveness, should the fact that urbanjedi is playing the squad factor into my decision-making process?)
Honorable mention goes out to theHutts. I played a very sub-optimal Trooper Swarm and it was deadly. I would probably give up rather than face 22 Resistance Rebel Troopers, but they're so fragile...

No, but if the fact he built it gives you greater confidence in the squad, you can take that into account.

1- Stayin' Alive (Resistance) by FlyingArrow. I concur that the Bowcaster-wielding duo (how does that even work? Do they shoot it then pass it to the other?) is the basis for the best Resistance squad currently. And I think that the Medical Officers are good, but I'd take Finn over two of them.
2- Can't Touch This by CorellianComedian. Obviously I prefer Finn but this seems like the next most optimal build.
3- Resistance Rangers by DarkDracul (-Nien Nunb and + Resistance Officer as I think it was supposed to be). The fact that they don't get Double hurts, but I still think the Antarian build is pretty good.

1. --General Nien Wexley with Poecaster-- Well built and able to handle a cornucopia of different squads.
2. --Resistance Rangers-- Antarian Resistence is super unique, with nien numb, love it, lol.
3. --resistance-- A unique build for the resistence, disruptive NTMTO is a great combo and being able to leia jump him around is sick
