I think that if you quote someone and they delete their message, anything that quoted them is also deleted. Perhaps one deleted message ended up deleting the whole thing if it was a bunch of quotes?

He probably talked to Darth frenchy before to make sure it was all going to be ok.

I'm open to a generalized discussion of what was happening here, but frankly, I think you're being a bit too directly and publicly confrontational with other members at this point.
