Don't know how much the word has gotten around, but in spokane wa, we are having a convention with a SWM tournament, lots of prize support and playing is free. There is a fee to gt in the con, but that's it. The big say is Aug 1st, at 7pm. So if you are in proximity, and want to get in on a a bunch playing and trading, you should gather your crew of players, and make a road trip. This event was a blast last year, and is sure to be even better this year. Lot's of other gaming and such going on all weekend. Bloomail me if you want more info. This one is FTW
And there is a slight chance Timothy Zahn Will be back for a visit this year. No garentees, but might be able to get your GA Thrawn signed.

I'm glad you guys are coming, Omnus/Nightwalker. I'll be playing a bit (as a pretty much guaranteed win; I'm split between my turtle squad and Thrawn+Scourge+Kel Dors), but my primary job is demo dude/bracketer/loudmouth. We're apparently doing a demo beforehand (about 4, I think), so any of you guys who want to show up for that are welcome. Hoping to catch some new blood with grab bags and demo games.

Haha, I think some people have misapprehended my intent in this thread. I am a terrible player...I have won a single DCI game in my life. This, combined with being King Geek, have relegated me to the humble position of Tournament Organizer. So, sadly, I won't be able to hand a win to everyone who faces me...
