Is the Obi-Wan that comes with this set the same as the Obi-Wan from the Revenge of the Sith booster packs? And is the General Grievous the same as the one from Clone Wars Battles?

Also, are the maps that come with it worth getting?

YEs the Obi wan is the RoTS one (you have to get him from the starter). The grievous is the same as the clone wars battle one^^

the cardboard map is smaller than all the other maps...lancers are even more deadly on it

my favorite map!Smile lays flat, no wrinkles, and it travels well. Gambit is divided by a wall, so it's easy to get.

best thing in my opinion for maps when you use them is getting either:

1) Map toploaders, you can get them off of ebay & few other places to where you slide the whole map in & its nice & flat, & no cracked die. The guy at our LGS ordered these for all of the maps in the shop & we use them now.. they are great.. Think of a toploader you would get for a card only the size of a mini's map.

2) Also if you cant find them go to home deopt / lowes & get a piece of plexy glass cut the size of a mini's map.. This is what i have for when i play at home.. It works great & i cant see myself ever playing without this or the map toploaders. Once you go no die cracked, you never go back lol..

ive got a store called the Game Keep that sells everything from frisbee golf to warhammer 40k to SW minis. those map top loaders Perc is talking about are awesome. the only downside is carrying that frikkin thing around, cuz i just hate playing on paper. for this reason....(I get a re roll because the D20 is showing 2 different numbers.)ARRRGGGHHH!Cursing

Cool info on the map toploaders. I've recently acquired some Monsterpocalypse stuff too, and though the maps are a bit more durable seeming than SWM maps, map top loaders would work good with these too.
