I had a lot of people playing NR, but so far haven't heard of anyone playing NR or Rebel.

Ganner rhysode People have been playing older stuff recently (a variant of Solo charge should be really good still) Resistance is pretty fun to play. Dodonna

But at this point it's all theory-crafting anyway, so it's irrelevant.

I was very close to playing my Chicago Regional winning mando squad.
--Invisible Death (2018 Regional Champion Squad)-- 44 Darth Maul, Death Watch Overlord 29 Pre Vizsla 28 Kelborn 23 Mandalorian Captain 60 Death Watch Saboteur x6 8 R7 Astromech Droid 5 Death Watch Mercenary 3 Mouse Droid
(200pts. 13 activations)
It's a powerful squad. Would I have done as well? (Tbd following tomorrow night's results) - but the main struggle would be OR, and I didn't play any.)
Lol - I have played more Mandos than anything (and probably more than anybody)

I considered running Sith again but wanted a change of pace. I've had good success running Sith the past 3 years. 2015 was 2nd place. 2016 was top 8, losing in the first round of the brackets to urbanjedi. I had beaten him in Swiss and I would have won in the brackets if it went 2 minutes longer. (He was ahead but I would have won if we went one more round.) 2017 I missed the top 6 but came close. I lost to Vong (autoloss to AceAce's Vong) and lost to spry in a game that could have gone either way.
