I dunno if im gonna be right on this but ill give it a shot,.I assume since you solve one thing at a time i would assume that once you force push it says first that the character takes the damage on the card then you push back number amount of squares, so in my opinion since it would take the damage first im assuming it would be defeated before being pushed back making the explosion hit the pusher. Basically with abilities like rolling cleave, if you defeated an enemy, you can then move 1 square & attack another enemy. So the character that you defeated wouldnt wait till the end of the turn to be defeated. You just solve each thing one at a time so thats what im assuming.but im not sure on that so someone will come & give you the right answer, or if im right will agree..

I'm gonna agree with DP here, the Kel Dor takes damage, and then, if survives would be pushed back. Otherwise he'll explode in the face of the pusher. Least that's how I've played it in the past.

I remember this was asked in here awhile back and yes that is how it is resolved. Damage then the movement.

What I've been told previously regarding Asajj Ventress, Separatist Assassin and Kel Dor Bounty Hunters...
The controlling player chooses what order actions/reactions go in. Therefore, you can choose to resolve Force Push first, then after the Kel Dor is pushed, he blows up (hopefully 4 spaces away from you).
That's how I would play it.
In the case of Asajj Ventress, she has Rolling Cleave. After she kills a Kel Dor, the controlling player choose to complete the Rolling Cleave(let's her move 1 square away and optionally attack another target) first, then the Kel Dor explodes.
If this in incorrect, I'd like to be informed. :)

The Damage of Push must be applied first, then the movement. This is covered in the FAQ. This is different than other simultaneous effects due to the fact that it is a single ability that states how it progresses.

However, my reasoning on Asajj Ventress' Rolling Cleave vs a Kel Dor is correct? Let me know! :)

You can resolve Rolling Cleave before Self Destruct. You cannot use the push portion of Push before the damage is applied.

Checking the FAQ so I know how the text reads as you mentioned. I get it now, sort of heh. So Push is assumed to do damage first, then the enemy moves x number of spaces. However, Rolling Cleave activates when the character is defeated, but can be used before the self-destruct.

Here's a link to the WOTC rules FAQs http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=starwars/article/minisfaqgeneralIf you scroll all the way down, it gives you a step procedure on how to resolve attacks, or abilities that target enemies. Comes in really handy, I highly recommend you print a copy for future use. =) Sincerely, Jester007

Thanks. I was reading through it earlier. And yes, I am going to be printing a copy and keeping it with my rulebook, etc. I do have more questions, will post about those later...

Thanks for your quick answers. So cloaked would be a problem paired with Kel Dor, BH.
