Can an emperors bodyguard be used on emperor roan fel as well? (I know its redundant)

Yes. Since it is a SA from before COTF, and has not gotten an update rules entry, it reads as "name contains Emperor".

My guess would be 'yes'. I don't know if 'Emperor' means the Palpatine persona or the keyword 'Emperor'. If the latter, then it could also be applied to Roan Fel.

It's a moot point anyway in most circumstances because of Roan Fel's CE, unless Disruptive is in effect.

Ask yourself this... if the character is subject to CE, then Roan Fel's CE can be used...regardless of the SA
