I think this squad could be quite a problem for alot of other squads.

--Malak & Mira--
49 Darth Malak, Dark Lord of the Sith
47 Mira
23 Jedi Crusader
19 Old Republic Captain
15 Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer
36 Antarian Ranger x3
6 Mouse Droid x2
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

(198pts. 11 activations)

Antarian Rangers have +15 attack and 22 Def when within 6 of a force user and a mouse droid. Malak and mira are my heavy hitters. Mira can take care of stealth and super stealth with force sense and accurate shot. Jedi crusader has +14 attack and 22 def when within 6 of a mouse.

Need one more Ranger for squad assault...

You could drop Lobot and add another Uggie to make that work...

Yes I was aware of that, I was debating that but i opted for lobot because of the chance for reserves and the fact that i can hold doors closed and not just blow them open. The rangers get the +15 from malak and synergy although a +19 would be nice.

Oh, I meant to ask, what kind of squad do you think would be a problem for this squad. I could see evade being a bit of a problem but would like your opinion (that means you*).

Very nice. Malak and Mira is a good combo. I would like to see a Czerka in this build. Mira with Mobile, Accurate, Twin, BH +4, Splash 10, and Jolt thrown in the mix can not only slow down your opponents main figs, but downright intimidate them. Mira is a monster with Jolt. Trust me, i use her a lot (8).

So, I played this squad against a Black Sun Cannon squad and it did very well. I still lost but i was able to take out all his pieces that were buffing up his TBSVs so all he had left were TBSVs. It was a very close match. I think I am going to take your advice LandShark. I am going to pull one of the 3 Rangers and put in a czerka to give mira and the rangers jolt.

I like this squad and adding jolt would definitely help. Especially with Mira and her accurate shot.

Since you asked for potential problem squads to your build, I'll give you two factions that could potentially be problematic.



A possible counter to this squad would NR I think. They have double saves, evade, mobile, access to decent jedi hunters, fast moving pieces, activation control, disruptive, and Kyle Katarn (who we all know has another lightsaber behind his beard).

Vong could also pose a problem. Especially with a vong Nombomb squad using the advance scouts. Force sense then becomes less effective. The vong also have jedi hunting capabilities which could hurt, but they are vulnarable to your many guns fortunately.
