So Jeremiah and I were the only 2 that made it tonight. We only had enough time to get 1 game in. The shop closes earlier on Sunday and we didn't get the memo. Lol! Anywho
Jeremiah ran
55pt Yoda Jar Jar Tarpals Gungan Elite infantry x2 Gungan Artillerist x4 Dr E Rodian diplomat Uggy
I ran
Director Krennic Death Troopers x5 Moff Nina Calixte General Veers Mas
The game overall was super slow as this is the first time I have ran a true shooter squad and Jeremiah is still learning the game.
I ran Crime Lord's Palace and won map roll.
1st 2 rounds were positioning.
3rd round Jeremiah mispositioned his infantry and I was able to get a clean shots off when I got into position. He was able to get his Artillerists out and start the double Cesta barrage but the ridiculousness of the Death troopers Unit bodyguard took over. Jeremiah was just not able to get enough damage through and I was able to putting his Artillerists out.
game ended in round 4 final score 70 to 20. Jeremiah played as well as he could but the Death Troopers passed damage off to each other and stayed alive.

Thanks for posting this! I love seeing play reports.
Unit Bodyguard (and Bodyguard in general) only works on attacks. I wonder how that would impact things. Cesta is almost the perfect anti-Bodyguard ability since its damage can't be bodyguarded and its "grenades" effect punishes bodyguards for getting adjacent in the first place.

Well see, that is a learning experience. We played that incorrectly and Jeremiah probably would have crushed me as we played that wrong the entire game.

The day after playing I will often think about a game and realize we played something wrong.

Don't sweat it. Even the best of us misplay Unit Bodyguard. It's the "go-to" ability to mess up this year!
