I know that "never tell me the odds" works against opponents who have recon and master tactician. Tactics broker also effects the init, so wouldnt "never tell me the odds" work against that too?

I believe Never tell me the odds trumps the tactics broker.

Tactics Broker is a SA, thus Never Tell Me the Odds negates it (fully, so no mandatory sacrifice).

Yes NTMTO's works against any SA that effects initiative IE= Master Tactitian, Recon, Tatics Broker & im pretty sure, not 100% but i think Anticipation also. As long as you have say Han Solo Galatic Hero & A Muun Tatics Broker all still in the battle together then tatics broker wouldnt work.

NTMTO only negates Special Abilities. Anticipation is a Force Power, and is not affected.

sorry to interject this here, and I'm pretty sure I asked before possibly, but....
Is Tactics Broker an optional thing, or do you HAVE to do it every round?

It is mandatory, which is why most MTB squads have a way to kill the broker themselves.

Which is why a way to kill the Muun himself is needed, ie a Self Destruct fig that you keep next to the Muun.
