Add this line to the Savage SA: Characters with this ability ignore the Diplomat special ability.

(now Rancors and Acklays won't have to stop and sit while listening to a 5pt Caamasi Noble's soothing voice...it sure ain't because of his looks.)
Really you only need the Diplomat SA update, but having both would further clarify the interaction.
Please feel free to comment on why you voted the way you did. I would love to see this become a real errata to the rules.

I like it. Makes Savage characters a little more playable, and is a nice answer to those ANNOYING (and rules-wise abusive) Diplomats.

Makes sense to me.
Savage characters are supposed to run up to an enemy and attack, not say "oops, sorry, I didn't realize you had diplomatic immunity; let me just stand here."

Sounds good to me!! Would be awesome to use some Rakghouls to wipe out your opponent's Diplomats. :P

Sounds good - but maybe nobody voted against it, I just accidentally fatfingered the No instead of the Yes. Don't know how to take it back. So vote should be 20 - 2 not 19 - 3.

I can see it now - one guy has Lobot, the other guy fields a Diplomat or three. Lobot guy brings in a Rak. Even Leia Senator would be lucky to survive an Ambush attack. Suddenly, Raks are everywhere. Run for your life! I voted yes, oops Ah well, at least we'd see more Savage characters in play

This rule needs to be in the game, even more than our Jedi Door Trick ;)

When I saw the topic title, I thought I'd be against this initially. Then I read the suggestion itself, and now I'm completely for it! It makes so much sense! If savage characters aren't going to listen to commander effects and do everything they can to get at the enemy, why would they care about diplomatic immunity?
A resounding yes!

yeah, I'd figure a great white shark doesn't care if it's against the Geneva Conventions to eat a diplomat. This does make sense!

i play my Rakghouls with Kun. alot of damage output with an ambush makes for a very effective whooping. mind you, if you just throw those lil buggers out there, they will die. u might want toss in a good shooter to aid in the Rakghoulie-ness!
