Why is it that the Commando droid (the one I looked forward to the most) has such a terrible sculpt? The legs are too big and block looking and the head's too small compared to the body. And it's just standing there. No actiony pose or anything. Very disappointed at that. Hondo Onaka, Obi in Space Suit, and Captain Argyus all look like sculpts I've seen before. Can't think of where though.

Argyus looks like an elite clone grenadier from CW. those frikkin tea cup hands were a dead give away.

Argus = Mandalorian Trooper Obi-Wan = Luke, Jedi Knight Hondo = Mandalorian Captain

I think Mandalore's right on the Argyus sculpt. EmporerDragon seems right on Obi-Wan and Hondo. Actually, now that I think about it more, Argyus's sculpt reminds me a lot of the Elite Clone Trooper Commander from CW.

i dont mind the Cad Bane as much, but the other minis just look like cheap knockoffs. i know we had this convo going last month with the recycled poses, and here it rears it ugly head again. thats not to say ill probably own half of the set, but im just so dang dissappointed.

sigh, not only are reused sculpts, but just look at the friggin, detail. HORRIBLE. When SWM first came out, they actually gave d@mn about quality control. Now it is just another cheap (except for the consumer) miniatures game made in china, that will keep going up in price (as the quality goes down)

I guess I'm the black sheep in this thread because I like the pieces I really don't see how they are any different from any other figs we have seen. I'm excited about the new set.

I'm excited for the new set too. The Clone Wars era is my favorite out of all the eras. And not all the sculpts are bad. Cad Bane doesn't look too bad, neither does Hondo Ohnaka or Obi-Wan. The other pieces just look like they could have used a little more care in their make.

Well that's disappointing. JA was one of the best sets yet, sculpt-wise, so I'm surprised to see such a marked downturn in quality. These are all embarrassingly bad, with the possible exception of Cad Bane. The Ventress is just laughable.
Here's hoping these are just customs, and not actually representative of what will be in booster packs this October.
