Question 1: if you have accurate shot and an enemy is adjacent to you, can you target an enemy who is not adjacent to you or do you have to target the adjacent ones first?

Question 2: can you use the accurate shot ability with things like missiles and flamethrower or other abilities that replace attack?

1) The adjacent character is ALWAYS* the primary target.

2) No. Accurate shot does not affect* replace attack or replace turn abilities. Accurate shot only affects targeting for attacks.

*indicates there is a rare exception involving Fringe characters and Ephant Mon but does not change the basic premise of this thread.

To go more into detail about question number 2, here's exactly why you cannot use Accurate Shot with abilities like Missiles, Flamethrower, Grenades, etc.

An attack is defined as picking a target and rolling a D20 to see if a hit is scored. Since Missiles, Flamethrower, and a majority of those abilities that "replaces attack(s)" doesn't use a D20 to roll a hit, they are not classified as attacks.

Sincerely,
