Lightsaber Throw + Energy Shield Options

Okay, this came up a couple of weeks ago and I'd just like to clarify that the ruling was accurate..

(for each example assume that characters allied to the character with the Energy Shield ability are adjacent, and characters targeting enemy characters with Lightsaber Throw are nonadjacent)

If a character uses Lightsaber Throw on a character under the "protection" of Energy Shield and successfully hits, the attacking character has to make the appropriate save or the attack does no damage and the attacker takes the appropriate damage. Is this correct?

Likewise, if a character uses Lightsaber Throw 3 or 5 and attacks multiple characters "protected" by Energy Shield, each successful attack must attempt a save or be "reflected" back. Is this correct?

On a similar note, if a character with Energy Shield is targeted by Lightsaber Throw 3 or 5 and is defeated, do the adjacent characters being attacked still get the Energy Shield "protection"? Or because there is no longer a Shieldbearer there is no more Energy Shield effect?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I'll take a stab at this.

Ok remember when using Lightsaber throw, it counts as a Range attack (non melee) so LST can be evaded, deflected, reflected etc.

Question 1: Yes you are correct.

Question 2: Yes you are correct, you would have to make a save for each attack that hits a character witht he Energy SA.

Question 3: No the character giving the SA would be defeated, you resolve one action at a time, so when that character is defeated, then none of the other characters adjacent that were getting that SA would have it anymore because the character providing it was defeated.

See when resolving more than one situation in a single turn takes place, you would just solve the situation 1 at a time.

I.E. Boba BH has twin attack & is non-adjacent to 3 keldor BH's all with full hp & all 3 adjacent to eachother in a straight line. Boba Shoots 1 keldor (20dam) Boba then uses twin attack & hits the same kel dor again. Keldor is defeated so self destruct takes place & kills the next keldor adjacent to it.That keldor now is defeated & then self destruct again takes place now hitting the 3rd keldor. So in that example each kel dor's defeat & self destruct you would resolve 1 at a time.

So basically mutiple actions can be resolved in a single turn, you wouldnt wait till the end of a turn to take a defeated character out of play, as soon as that character is defeated even if its on the first attack of the turn & there is still mutiple attacks that can be done, you would take the defeated character out & resume with the rest of the turn. Resolve one situation at a time.. hope that helps..
