Im just making sure i got this right..... Sniper will allow me to shoot through enemies, not allowing my target cover. So that means that if there are 4 characters blocking my target, my Sniper will negate them as cover, as long as there isnt terrain issues in between my target and the other 4 characters. Now Boba Merc Comm. grants accurate shot to my Snipers. so if there were terrain issues between my target and the 4 other characters, i could still target the enemy in the back? granted, as long as that enemy doesnt have super stealth or cloaked. because you cant SEE them. i have to make sure i have this right, because ive been appointed the judge in the Nashville area, and dont want to screw someone out of a possible victory.

Sniper means you don't take characters into effect for determining cover.
Accurate Shot allows you to ignore the closest enemy requirement for targeting characters in cover, effectively meaning you can shoot anyone you see.
The two abilities do not interact with each other.
Also, Cloaked, Super Stealth and the like do not negate line of sight. Opposing characters can see them, they just can't target them.

When talking about Sniper, is it only used for negating the defense bonus that would normally be granted by an intervening character, or does it actually allow you to target a character behind another if the target is in clear terrain (and no intervening low objects)?

Both actually. With Sniper, characters do not grant cover. You would effectively consider the square(s) they're standing on empty.

Cool, that's how I thought it worked. It's kind of like Accurate Shot Jr. then. Thanks E.D.

Yup, if a character has Cloaked or Superstealth too, & you have a character with sniper attacking, the enemy with SS or cloaked is behind lets say a Caamasi Noble, you would be able to hit the SS or Cloaked figure if you have no cover in the way, meaning a character with sniper can shoot at SS or cloaked characters hiding behind another character if there is nothing else in the way..
