Does Darth Bane, Sith'ari's Irrepressible Force allow him to gain Force points within 6 squares of Darth Nihilus, Lord of Hunger's Wound in the Force?

Wound in the Force (At the start of this character's turn, if any adjacent enemies have Force points remaining, transfer 1 Force point from each adjacent enemy to this character. Enemy characters within 6 squares cannot gain Force points.)

Irrepressible Force (This character’s Force powers cannot be cancelled)

I don't get how Wound in the Force wouldn't an example of cancelling a Force Power.

Cancelling is a specific term which is used in and applies to Force Absorb and Force Defense. Irrepressible Force only gets around those two- other abilities like Wound in the Force, Ysalamiri, etc don't cancel Force powers in a strict sense.

That makes sense in the strictest interpretation of rules.
Apparently, Bane's force power wasn't THAT irrepressible. Glare
