Wow, great find! Check out some of the new abilities, there's some neat stuff going around. 3 commando droids, a 501st trooper (finally), and Nahdar is a freaking VR??
Wow, Roger Roger (Non unique droid allies within 6 squares gain +10 damage). That could be scary...

As long as they would have a damage rating while combining fire it is legal. Roger, Roger is a bonus that is only applied when attacking, so no go on combining.

Let's not forget those 8 point (7 with Gha) Security BDs. GGDAC, BDO, Overseer, Roger fig... now those little guys are Double/Twin at +15/30 when getting Cunning  Put them behind those +28 in cover Mice if your enemy is without Accurate
