So, I know most people are probably still recovering from Gen Con. But I ALSO know that we just had a new set become legal, and people want to play with those pieces. And I ALSO know that I will be starting school soon and my weekend may not be my own for a long time. So with all of that in mind, I would like to propose a V-set 20 tournament on Vassal. In honor of the new set, Always Two There Are, I would like to see people bring two squads, each incorporating at least one of the new pieces. Maps will be the current Restricted List, all of which are now available on Vassal. Each round, your opponent will pick which of your two squads he or she wants to face. Reveal at the same time. This should make for interesting match ups, as you can't just plan for which of your opponent's squads you think you can counter better with one of your squads, since they might pick the other squad. Hopefully everyone will get to play both of their squads.

I'm tentatively looking to hold this tournament on Sunday August 16 around 2 p.m. (maybe as late as 3 p.m.) CDT.
This will follow our standard floor rules for Vassal (75 minute rounds, 10 point gambit), except that, because I want to see the squads destroy each other, gambit will not end games if there is time left on the clock. An exception would be by agreement of the players, such as a graciously accepted concession. No one should feel they have to play out a game they are losing badly, but if both players desire to continue, then that is allowed.

Please submit squads to me by 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. I will post here when I have submitted my squads to a neutral party.
