Last year it was the first week in November. So I'm wondering what is up.

I wasn't there last Monday, so I don't know. I've sent an e-mail out to the group and hope to have it posted today (assuming someone responds).

Are you guys having any kind of DCI tournament after the release? We have 4-5 coming down from St Louis for the event.

You mean in addition to the sealed event itself? Nothing planned.

Might be an idea to explore though. Would have to check with the LGS owner first, and then see how many locals would stick around for another event. I can certainly understand you guys wanting to make the most of the trip BlooMilk

I'll put out some feelers and let you know if this looks promising BlooMilk

We could always make the sealed a 5 match event.

Doubt that Jim will want to go that long, but maybe. Scott (LGS owner) said today that we could do another tourney after the sealed if we wanted (he won't be there anyway). Will ask the group when we play tomorrow if any of them are interested.

We can always play some extra games for the fun of it if nothing else. BlooMilk

GAW sealed event on Saturday the 24th will be 125 points. (see top post)

Number of rounds will be at least the minimum required to determine a clear winner, so will depend on turnout.

Possibility of doing an additional constructed event after the sealed is still ????? depending on how long that one goes. If people are willing, Scott the LGS owner is OK with it.

Well I doubt now that we can do a post-draft event. I was outvoted, several of our group coming are on time limitations, so we'll be there for the release then have to leave.

Sorry to hear that Matt. Sad
It'll be great to have your bunch down here for the sealed at least. BlooMilk

As it turns out we will be doing a regular 150 following the sealed.
(assuming enough bodies to make it fly).

Keep that in mind in case the situation changes Smile

See you on Saturday!

- Dave

Will there be prize support for the 150?

I would think so. Worst case we might have to do a $5 entry, if Jim doesn't have some goodies set aside for that. He didn't mention anything about that part, and I didn't think to ask.

There will be a full case of GAW for the sealed. If it is a huge turn out there might be more than that.
