Hi everyone! This is announcing this year's fourth Sunday Regional! Creatively titled: JUNE SUNDAY REGIONAL!!!I plan to hold one once a month until Gen Con! (I know this is a quick turnaround, but with Father's Day and being out of the country the last weekend in June, this is the only weekend I have to run this!) ALL ARE WELCOME, regardless of geography!!! Please let me know in this thread if you plan on playing. I'll have a running list Standard 200pt squads. Bring your good stuff. Additional request - Have a Discord account! It is FREE! It is super handy! We can all chat in the main room between games. You can check out other people's games if you finish early (and hear them talk!) Not required, but strongly encouraged! Squads and map selections can be PMed to TimmerB123 anytime after Thursday June 10th (I will PM a neutral party my squad before then). Please send squad link, copy/paste of squad, map, and DISCORD NAME (with the # and 4 digits) *Registration ENDS June13th at 11:30am central time (please save your squad on vassal beforehand for efficiency) *Rounds begin promptly at 12:30pm central time (1:30pm Eastern). {Please gather in Vassal by 10 minutes before the hour} Gameplay in each round will last exactly 75 minutes. Each player is responsible for timing their own games. 10 minutes of set-up time will be given before the game clock begins each round (we will start the game clock when everyone is set and ready if it is before 10 minute set-up time is done). Number of Swiss (initial) rounds depend on number of participants. <8 = 3 rounds, cut to top 2 (or just straight 4 rounds of Swiss, decided based on numbers) 9-16 = 4 rounds, cut to top 4 17-32 = 5 rounds (very optimistic here), cut to top 4 There will be a break after round three, unless people want a break at another time. Legal Map Lists will be:Bothan Spynet Cantina Outlaw City Rhen Var Citadel Ravaged Base (Commander's Office) Starport District Starport Terminal Throne Room (The restricted list maps, all available on Vassal) ALSO NOTE: Players will be responsible for knowing all errata, floor rules, etc. Changes can be found here: http://www.bloomilk.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=20395and here: http://www.bloomilk.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=28568This will be an official Star Wars™ Miniatures SWMGPA (Star Wars Miniatures Gamers Players Association) sacnctioned event. The SWM GPA Floor Rules will be in effect. (The Star Wars Miniatures SWMGPA (Star Wars Miniatures Gamers Players Association) Floor Rules and the Star Wars Miniatures Game Rules should be read and understood by all players wishing to compete in sanctioned events. All SWMGPA members participating in SWMGPA-sanctioned Star Wars™ Miniatures events must abide by these rules.) If it means more players, then I'm 100% in favor of moving the start time back. I will be playing, regardless of when we end up starting.

12:30pm start time actually makes it possible for me to play in one of these Sunday Regionals. I'll check my schedule and see if it can work for me to play this coming weekend if we can indeed start at 12:30pm central. I attend church every sunday morning at 10am so there isn't ever a way for me to play at 11am central. Hope this can work for more people and that this can become a new start time for future sunday regionals!

Yeah there is always a balance to try and find. Most people wanted earlier before. We tried significantly later to try and get some NZ guys involved, but it was still tough to get any. A couple of us have a role-playing group that meets Sunday nights, so that gets tricky if tournaments run late.
But ultimately, I think most of us agree - whatever gets the best turnout.

That's why I guess Rebels, for as long as I can remember I can't recall you ever running Rebels? I wonder if it's your least played faction at tournaments?

I wasn’t sure if that was sarcasm or not. Are used to run rebels a lot. My first regional win was rebels and I’ve taken rebels to the championship at GenCon at least three times
