For his CE - can an allied Bounty Hunter NOT move and still benefit from the CE and attack then use a replaces attacks ability? I know with "charging" abilities, "can" means must move first. But this says "may", and does not say "after moving" (like the glossary for charging abilities do), or "then attack" (like "battering" abilities do).

They must move, attack, and "then replace attack SA" The "may" means that replacing their turn for the effect is optional. You can make your normal turn. The effect is to: move up to speed, make an attack, use a replace attack SA. Droids are subject to this effect: Bounty Hunter allies within this character's line of sight may replace their turns to move up to their speed, make an attack and then use a special ability that replaces attacks.

Wow that is some piss poor wording for a CE. There were about 3 or 4 chances in that sentence to make it very clear, but they chose the way it is massively ambiguous. All they had to do was add the word "must" (totally unambiguous) or the word "after" (like charging abilities), or the word "then" (like battering abilities). Or - since it's a CE and we don't have to worry about making it as short as possible like we do with SAs (because of re-use) - They could have added "at least 1 space" in reference to the movement. So the main reason I was asking is that I saw a lot of people had Cradossk paired with Din Djarin w/ The Child. However, this mean you CANNOT use Cable Grab in conjunction with this. That would be a bit nutty. From 10 squares away regardless of low objects, rough terrain or opposing characters - Twin attack + whistling birds (or flame thrower). Of course you could still move 6 and do it, but it's obviously not as good (and probably what at least some players had in mind)
