Of course!

I too love that aspect.

As a Boba Fett super nerd, I was a bit underwhelmed so far.

The Mandalorian set the bar high. It is outstanding.

The fights were not that impressive, and Temuera Morrison is really not that great of an actor. A "train heist" on Tattooine? That felt forced.

Love Fennic Shand though, and it's awesome seeing how it is tying other bits of the SW universe together. (Black Krrsantan! Pike Syndicate!)

Intrigued by "The Twins" (although my first thought was the Tonnika Twins).

Will I still be watching? Of course! But those are my initial thoughts

Yes, first episode was a little disappointing as Boba seemed to need to crawl into the bacta tank quite often. However, the second episode was better and will hopefully build from there. Definitely cool to see all the Easter eggs/ tie ins with other SW propertiies.

I think there are some pretty cool new SWM characters to be made from this show. Boba-on-Rancor, for one!

Mixed feelings, but im entertained.

This new EU's Boba is very different from the Legends Boba. It's taking some getting used to.

Temuera Morrison is old and has to crawl back to the bacta tank frequently, but i really enjoy seeing him reprise the role, and sloppy old man fights have been part of star wars since a new hope.

I will say, the low-speed Mos Espa Vespa chase was a little cringe though. LOL

EP3 was horrendous and I don’t know who’s fault it is.

I have seen parts of episode 2 and 3.
It feels informed by stuff like that "Troops" and "NukaBreak",
though, the show is exploring the NuWarsTrek branch
and not the 'grim-dark" 90s-2010s.

which results in something closer to the 1977-1980s Marvel Comics etc,
yet still a campy version of Boba Fett. Which is almost "Jodo Kast"
the imposter/s of Boba Fett

I am much prefering The Book of Boba to "The "Mandalorian" etc,
(Grogu the Yoda-Stories Yoda Clone ruins much of The Mandalorian)
it's an interesting show.

For me,
Boba Fett will be a few of the novels,
the game and the Turok / Serious Sam mods etc,
the Bloodties and Open Seasons comics,
and a few of the other comics,
rather than some of the other continuities. BigGrin

SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 4

don't see why Disney crammed a Mandalorian episode in the Book of Fett story
I'm hoping they're not trying to combine the 2 seriesThumbDown
I did enjoy seeing a Gran,(hey were my favorite pt filler)
and seeing the Dark Sabre in action

Interestingly, it was the best episode (by far) of the series so far.

So that does say something.

Edit - also it was episode 5

It was a more enjoyable episode. Not sure if that's because Mando had grown on me as a character, or it was written, directed, and choreographed better. Is disappointing that they remove boba and all of a sudden the shows improved. I guess we'll see if the next few episodes hold up the momentum.

I'm not a big fan of the flashback-style they've chosen. Maybe it will pay off somehow, but so far I wish they'd done 2 or 3 episodes of Tuskens... leading right up to Boba getting the armor back and the Mando interactions (alluded to, not shown again). And then the 2nd half of the season being Boba + Fennec.

I think it’s a pretty glaring indictment of the show that the best episode so far had nothing to do with the title character.

I came into this show not expecting much. With the old actor reprising his role, I figured it wasn’t going to be a gun-ho fight show. Also The Mandalorian IMO was almost to good and set us up thinking they could satisfy us with Bobba Fett. They’ve done a neat job adding in characters from the comics. I wish they would’ve spent a bit more time tying in The Aftermath sub chapter that specifically goes into how Bobbas armor came to who it possessed.

That being said we now have the new canon story, and the last episode was by far the best. I’m extremely interested in learning the backstory to the Night of 1,000 tears, and I hope he does go into the mines of Mandalore. And , call me what you will, but I kinda want him to be somewhat force sensitive and get training from Grogu 🤷‍♂️

Dislikes- Bobbas a wuss. Not a good fighter so far and relies on Fennec.

Had a real cool opportunity to Easter egg Asharad Hett in the Tusken story. I was really hoping they would tease his existence. Also tons of cool things they could’ve done in that story. Instead they all die

Not sure I’m sold on the bad ass cyborg bodyguards

Likes- it’s Bobba, and I’m a fan of him

Fennec is awesome, and I’m all for more literature and tv/movie appearances

Bobba on Rancor

And I really hope I’m right and we get to see the black sun and Xizor as the rival syndicate!

I don't understand all the hate for this show. I really enjoy it! I did think that the fight scenes were a bit too slow-motion for my tastes, but beyond that I'm really enjoying it.

And yeah...Boba on Rancor...or Boba's Rancor...or something like that simply must to show up in SWM.

I don't do a lot of customs, but I have extra Bobas and extra rancors, so I think I might try one.

Has anyone seen episode 6 yet? If you love star wars.....you will LOVE episode 6!!!!!!!!!!! I can't tell you how happy i was throughout the episode....if i wasn't at work watching it during my lunch break, i'd have shouted with joy a number of times and gotten out of my chair to applaud. I'd say, even if you don't like the rest of Book of Boba Fett, watch this episode....you will not regret it!ThumpUp

Yep, gotta say when a certain somebody came walking up I was making enough noise that my wife had to ask me what was wrong with me from the other room. She doesn't get it.
