There was some discussion about returning to 150 constructed as the standard several months ago.

I think that for a decision like this we first need to figure out what the problem is that we're trying to solve....

Is the problem that squads are too 'swingy' (that is, can they get too powerful) because of the extra room afforded by those 50pts? If that's the problem then moving to 150 would be a good idea.

Is the problem that out-activating is still too powerful or meta-restricting? If so, then I'm not sure that a move to 150 will solve anything. It's true that activation counts will of necessity be lower at 150...but that's true on both sides of the table. A squad of 8-10 at 200 will be 6-7 at 150, while high-activation squads will still have plenty of activations and will still dominate by out-activating.

A switch to 150pts will certainly shuffle the meta...but I'm not sure it will solve the problem if activation disparity is the core issue.
