As promised, here are some more details about the offerings this year. Please note: We will need volunteers to help run and gather squads for some of these events. Please let me know if you are able to help.

It should work. Once you've downloaded Vassal, you can find the latest version of the SWM Vassal mod here: http://www.bloomilk.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=28753

In addition to Vassal, it's best if you are using the SWM discord server. If you aren't on the server, let me know when you register and I can get you an invite.

I could use a partner for the team tournament if anyone else is also looking for one. Also, for ease of access, another permanent invite to the SWM Discord server: https://discord.gg/nDt9t9Mvht

Can someone please explain how this one works? So you need to have at least 1 mini from each faction, but then as many from any faction as long as you don't exceed 10 acts? Can you explain the "double-dipping" analogy...............thanks

No. Each faction (all 10) must be represented by exactly one activation. Affinity essentially does not exist in this format...the faction represented by the piece is the faction on the card. Hence, you cannot have Doombot representing the Republic and Mas representing Imperials.Mas only counts as Republic.
We ran this event at Gen Con and it was a bunch of fun.

What about Reserves/Reinforcements? Could I take [Chief of State Mon Mothma] and bring six extra troopers?

Jason can correct me, but I'm going to say 10 acts is a hard limit. No wiggle room.

Is it regular squad building rules or can the 4 activations be from different factions?

DarthMaim wrote:Can you explain the "double-dipping" analogy...............thanks There was an Ice Cream shop in 1930s Massachusetts called, "The Double Dip." A create-your-own sundae shop where people could dip their ice cream into multiple syrups. By the 1950s "double-dipping" became a legal term for illegally benefiting from two sources simultaneously or by two separate accounting methods. The term became widely popularized by the 1990s Seinfeld show when George got caught putting a chip from his mouth back into the dip.

If the event says it is Saturday 4pm/3pm Central, when is it in New Zealand?
