Hi all,
I know Vassal Con is just around the corner, but I only made it to one regional last season and we didn't get around to planning one in Chicago. I'm also dying to take set 26 out for a spin. Therefore, I was thinking of trying to host a tourney in Chicago sometime this fall...October or early November, most likely.
Would people be able to make time for this? If so, what weekends would work the best?
Any thoughts?

I appreciate the plugs for Vassal, but this is an in person event. There are usually plenty of chances to get Vassal practice in various formats.
I don't want to be rude, just don't want the thread filled with folks looking for virtual games. Thanks.

I might be able to do something in October if given enough lead time to get off work. Ill keep an eye out for when you settle on a date. I'm guessing Giles would be game as well.

We are working with the Dojo. Should know in a few days. There's also the possibility of another location. Hope to have an announcement thread up by the end of the week.

At this point, the other places I've investigated are booked or unresponsive.
Vassal is a possibility. Would people like that?
