--Following the Dark Lord-- 71 Lord Vader 33 Emperor Palpatine on Throne 26 Shadow Stormtrooper x2 11 Admiral Ozzel 6 Mouse Droid x2 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist Preferred Reserves: (Admiral Ozzel) 13 Shadow Stormtrooper (Admiral Ozzel) 6 RA-7 Death Star Protocol Droid (150pts. 8 activations) Lord Vader gets a bad rap for only being effective in Black & Blue squads. I've tried to give him a chance in this 150pt squad. Ozzel will let you win the activation battle, the stormtroopers will act as stealthy fodder, and Palpatine will be Vader's Force Battery. hmmm interesting. Lord Vader no thrawn. Well you might want to take advantage of Lord Vaders ce, thats where i would start, add some stuff that could use the extra damage. I would suggest [Arica] She will be twining for 30 damage a piece with her cunning. I think you will be ok to drop palps by the time vader makes it into striking range he will have plenty of FPs. Also something that i've found is if your going to use ozzel make sure you can ALWAYS out activate someone even in the late rounds. I would recommend not using ozzel at 150 enless you have at least 10-12 acts. The last thing you want is to run into Dodonna and only be moving one the whole time and never outactivate.
So trying to keep with your Lord Vader idea the thing i would look at is his normally forgetten about ce. Think about all the cool pieces he has access to with cunning attack and how much better they would be with an extra 10 damage on all there hits.

I dont like Lord Vader, hes too expensive and has low Def. hes easy to kill, and with no swap, hed be screwed in Who-ville. i give it a 7 if palps is emplaced in the Gambit .Vader Unleashed (50 pts), Ozzel (11 pts), Nyna Calixte (18 pts) Czerka Scientist (13 pts) x4 Imp scouts (32 pts) Shadow stormie (13 pts) x2 Gran Raiders ( 8 pts) uggies demo ( 3 pts) 12 activations.

Good damage output. However that vader and the Shadow Troopers are very Fragile. I think Thrawn is way to important to leave out, because he brings so much to the table for a great price.
Watch out for Lancer and Kybuck squads, they will tear thru your activations and leave you with Palpatine and Vader only, ozzel may have 10 life left.
