The snow’s falling, the cocoa’s steaming and the next wave of minis is heating up for the presses. You know what that means – it’s playtest time! And we’re looking for brave souls (yes, that means YOU) to help us shape the future.
Who: 4 to10 fearless playtesters who are ready to throw down and have fun!
What: Three rounds of Vassal featuring new characters, new abilities, and no overpowered combos (ha, we wish).
When: Saturday, December 21st at 7pm EST (with Sunday as a backup day).
Where: SWM Discord and the Vassal battlefield
Why: To ensure we can blame you when the overpowered designs slip through.
How: Message your interest and we’ll send over the stats you need to craft two 200-point squads. Don’t worry, we’re all winging it here anyway!
Pairings will be set up to maximize chaos—I mean, meaningful playtest results. And of course, we’ll wrap things up with some good ol’ holiday banter about which pieces to nerf into oblivion.
Whether you’re a master strategist or just in it for the laughs, we need YOU to join the fray. So dust off your Vassal skills, grab your ugliest holiday sweater, and let’s make this set legendary.

Ye best be usin’ these fine maps fer yer playtests this comin’ Saturday, where we'll be testin' squads and maps—yarrr, double the fun!
But heed me words, crew: I gave me solemn word to the mapmaker swab that we’d keep this treasure chest o' maps under lock and key! Aye, and that I’d send him all yer salty feedback after our games.

I would really love to, but if I can, I may be a little bit late. I'll keep you updated on whether I can or can't, but would it be alright if I were to be late? If this is supposed to be a tournament format, I could take the bye or something.

So if you do show up late, your first match will be against the most overpowered piece in the set. You're welcome!

I am very interested as well, however, I am in the same boat as Hi-Fives. I'd have to sit out of the first round, and start in the 2nd round, at 8pm eastern time.

If only. I'll be gone all day Saturday picking up my daughter. Not looking forward to all of the rerouting to get to her thanks to the big storm but excited I get to see her.
