so i was reading the realy old star wars comics and in issue 7 of star wars (republic) some one makes a refrence to blue milk being sold at mos esliey. was wondering is this where the site got its name if not u should say it its lol if it is where it came from well then... most impressive

yea it was, but the domain bluemilk.com was taken, so shinja changed the name to bloomilk.

Blue milk is also what Aunt Beru was serving to Luke in Episode 4 at supper or whatever meal that was. Likely due to the fact they live on a desert planet and water is much more difficult and expensive to come by.

While it is true that blue milk is acually a beverage in the star wars galaxy, it is acually a reference to the code name for return of the jedi during production. movie and game developers never use the real name of a project as to throw off corprate spies.

For instance, the 3 sets of the alara block of MtG was code named "Paper" "Rock" and "Scissors" respectively, keepng the acual titles secret untill they had copyrighted the names and were ready to start making offical announcments.
