-Overshot-- 66 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi General 33 Captain Rex 28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler 10 Caamasi Noble x2 12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4 (149pts. 9 activations) I am playing this at a local event. Has a decent amount of activations, and high damage output, GM Rex or Dash doing 120 each (Dash with Opp.) Obi goes into the meta with the Nobles, Ugnaughts for activations and Door control. Tell me what you think, anyway to improve it? Is it a competitive Squad? Please go and rate and comment on your opinion. Thanks for the help!

I am not sure about your LGS meta but anytime I play republic I don't expect to outactivate since there is so much tempo control available. With that said I would remove dash, the nobles and one ug then add a ARC trooper Sniper, R2 Astromech, Mas, and a R7 astromech droid. The tactic here is to use R2 tow cable to smash Rex into a crucial piece of your opponents. You also have the ARC trooper sniper with 2 accurate shots and GMA who can pick off a lobot or opposing R2. And you use Obi as interference.

The squad is similar to the old Obi squads that made for a lot of discussion. Honestly, the squad is solid, and 9 activations at 150 isn't exactly bad, it's just not great. I think Dash could be replaced with something better as well. The ARC trooper is an excellent idea, and if you have R2 astromech, he would be excellent as well. I realize if you don't have R2, it's too late to get him for the tourny. Before going with an R4, I would try to get Mas in there to extend the Commander Effects or at least use mouse droids to help them out. All in all, not a bad squad. I think the squad could perform very well for you in the tournament. Also, do you have a link for us to rate your squad from?

The way to post a link is to: 1. Go to the page with your squad (not in edit mode) 2. Copy the URL link at the top by: a. highlighting the link with the mouse b. right clicking the highlighted link c. select copy in the drop down menu 3. In a new post/thread right click in the typing field and choose paste in the drop down menu. Feel free to try it out on this thread.
