--501st and the Jump Jet Jedi--
66 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi General (AKA the Jump Jet Jedi)
33 Captain Rex
52 501st Clone Trooper x4
13 Czerka Scientist
11 ARF Trooper
9 Clone Trooper Pilot
8 Mas Amedda
8 R7 Astromech Droid

(200pts. 11 activations)

So this is my newest effort in squad building. Average activations, pretty decent defense and attack, no less then 2 attacks per clone, and if played right, plenty of jolt to go around.

I have only played this on the throne room, but it has had a good showing thus far. even on the non-throne side. With "JJJ"'s surprise move, you can have the detention area door open before the first activation. then hustle everyone in and then move Obi up to the first of the gambit doors. Use R7 to lock the 2nd door and you are free to move your troops into position. Once you have your ARF tooper in good position for recon, it's a resonable bet that you will have initiative. Then use rex to stun the heavy hitters and knock the wind out of them abit... using the 501st crunchies to mop up. things get dicey, R7 locks up while you regroup.

I like it, but without accurate shot I think jolt becomes less effective and the Czerka and the Clone Pilot could be replaced with Commander Gree so the 501st have boosted attack. Could make them more effective as well as they could hit more things.

Yeah, that and they could meet the same name requirement with Gree, Rex, or Obi nearby them. And giving Gree greater mobile double isn't so bad.

Ahh now see i didnt realise that gree's affect was all allies, making it so even after i lose a 501st trooper i still can synergise the bonus off rex or obi... or even R7 or mas amada for that matter.... and since i dont have the uggie or the mouse, i can still fit the ARF in there for recon. Plan endorsed!

Works on any allies except Droids and Savage chars, they aren't subject to CEs unless it is specifically stated in the CE.

oh thats right... so no synergy with the R7

Also bill, i been thinking about replacing two of the 501st with night vision clones for the accu shot since gree gives them the name change for the squad effect. that would give me aleast something against stealth

Go with Sev instead of NV troopers; he's much better.

I made a clone GMA squad myself a while back. I focused on the 501sts and Sev.

I would not replace the 501st. Accurate isn't needed in this squad.
