I'm playing a "3 way last man standing wins all" 100 pts squirmish, I have this 2 options but can't decide which one:

This one...

--Basilisk 100--
51 Basilisk War Droid
23 Mandalorian Captain
26 Mandalorian Commando x2

(100pts. 4 activations)

or...

--Loatsom 100--
32 B3 Ultra Battle Droid
27 ASN Assassin Droid
20 General Whorm Loathsom
17 IG-86 Assassin Droid
4 Battle Droid

(100pts. 5 activations)

Thaks in advance :)

Personally, not a huge fan of the Basilisk War Droid in small point games, mandos are highly priced to an extent that it can't afford the huge point charcters in low point games.

Personally, replacing that with 2 scouts for 38 points, leaving 13 points for either another supercommando, or R7 droid for override with a Uggie, or a mouse droid depending on whether anyone uses overide.

If people use overdrive, then 3 uggies and 1 mouse droid would be best, or 1 R7 and one uggie/mouse will do. You will probably leave you well equiped to fight off two oppoments single handiedly.

With those edits, I would suggest Mandos over Seps. Otherwise, go with Whormsom. ^^

Definitely the Whorm build. You're wise to put in the ASN for a casual 3-way game, IMO. That is one irritating little sucka. Either you let him snipe you or you get drilled with the Kouhun Infestation, which is pure evil against low-HP shooters.

Just a thought though: See if there is a way to fit a BDO in there. Your three big droids could really use him for 9 points, but I just can't see where I'd put him in.

Thank u all guys for the comments,

* Actually I can a make a better build with the mandos, I just want to use my Basilisk at least once.

* About ASN, I love that droid, it can work for Loathsom and B3 protection, nobody want a Kouhun infestation, and twin shooters are really usefull.

* I have no: BDO, Uggies or mouse droids... :/

Aye, just personally, I think the Basilisk is better in huger games, problem is, it's too expensive to really gain benfit from it's better support and it really has no overridding connection with the rest of the squad. Personally, 100 point squads with Mandos should contain the basics only, then with 150/200 and beyond, stuff can be added to enahnce it. ^^

Ahhh, well, any R7's? They are in the latest set and have override. ^^

Last night was the night my Loathsom squad went to war; but I got totally screwed, my 2 friends joined against me :/ shame on them, and one them used accurate shot in my B3 several times in deed all the attacks he could make.

Anyway I managed "to kouhun" a K3PO and a Tusken raider on bantha, it was a funny game.

For the next 3 way squirmish, we'll use a scoring system; I'll post a thead aobut it soon.

Thank u for all the comments agains.

The ever popular 2 on 1 strategy of 3 way "free for alls" where the two weak opponents gang up on the strong opponent to take him down first so he doesn't win by being the last man standing.

Multiplayer free-for-all really does need a scoring system in addition to the normal "you kill it you get its points." I've figured a piece should score half of its points to whomever destroys it while the other half goes to whomever is most responsible for its demise. If you have a figure with a 100 hit points and I drop you down to 80 before someone else finishes it off I should be getting points for my work in toppling that piece.

Aye, thats the main thing I don't like about free for alls, it's never a free for all, it typically ends up as 2 v 1, with the possiblity of betrayal. Probably may not have been anything wrong with your build at all, only so much you can do against two squads. Heh

The mando build looks pretty good for a start. ^^ Only so much you can do with them at 100 points.
