A little bit of a bump and more info from the email we got a few days ago.

=Rainbow Wars=

-Lumiya has been ruled to have a yellow lightsaber. She can be used for the event.
-Any character with multiple lightsabers of different colors can only choose one color to be.
-A 'variation of Gambit Rules' will be in effect to keep from slow play.
-There will be plenty of pieces that have the rare colors (yellow, orange, and white)

There was no mention of an entry fee, but I assume that if there is one it'll be the usual $5.

We hope to see a lot of new faces out there. If you need/want more info feel free to PM Spryguy or myself. ThumbsUp

Hey Mickey,

Depending on who makes it we average about the same number of players we would get in St Louis 6-8. It's pretty fun, and yes, we will be seeing you in Nashville, or at least I will, Andy is still undecided.

Next event is a 100pt Constructed on Jan 23, but I will not be there due to my cousin's wedding. Following that we have the Dark Times release 2nd Weekend in Feb, and then a 150pt constructed on the last weekend in Feb.

That was a TON of fun, and I'd love do do another RW sometime. Great to finally meet you as well, hopefully we'll be seeing you when you can make it out.

When I see him I'll let him know. Tongue

Maybe he'll bring a squad with his new Christmas presents he got.
Or maybe another squad that hasn't been played in a DCI tourney in a long time.

Well, it's good to hear some internet chatter from the group in Charlotte NC! (I used to be a member of the group before moving to Atlanta.)

The Charlotte group is great. Unfortunately, they don't get that much attention on the boards as they deserve. (I hear there was 10 players at the last tourney, which is awesome)

Also, the Charlotte group has a website: QueenCityGamers.com. It's way out of date, but if you prod Jonathan, I'm sure he will get it going again.

Anyways, Atlanta regionals will be here before you know it. I'm looking forward to a big showing form the Charlotte group this year...

Cheers, Nathan

All tourneys start at 1pm...or around that timeRazz

Nate, yeah man we've gotten a big group again. Perhaps when you get a chance to make it back up this way you can time so you can attend an event. Yeah, we've already been talking about coming down there for the atlanta regional. Should have a sizeable group coming down again. Hope you don't mind us crashing on the floor again. We'll bring the booze.

Oh yeah, hahahahaha...the website. Yeah it's a sad site...but I did update it with the upcoming events. Wink

...hmmm, maybe y'all can schedule a "big event" in the spring, and the ATL group (and other groups as well) can drive up for it.

I do hope I can attend sometime. Have attempted to put in for a job in Winston-Salem. There is one that opened up near Gastonia. So, I am trying.

hahahaha...yeah that would be awesome, but I'm no planner.

And Corey, that would be awesome if you could move back here! I know we'd love to have you back.
