So does melee reach2 or 3 treat enemies as adjacent for their attacks as well? and if they move within that range, is it an AoO?

Melee reach makes their attacks count as adjacent to anyone out of normal melee range they attack. However, the reach only applies on the character with reach's turn, so if someone moves within the reach range, it doesn't provoke.

Melee Reach is only in effect on the Melee Reach character's own turn, and only while they are attacking.

No. As it is not the rancor's turn, Melee Reach does not go into effect.

So...since Melee Reach only applies during the turn of the character with Melee Reach, can a Melee attack be Evaded if it is from a non-adjacent attacker? I've been told "no", but would like to know why. I'm sure it's in the FAQs, but I'm not sure where to access that and am new to this site. Thanks in advance for answering a dumb question.

I've been told "no", but would like to know why. 1) Can you use Evade when the attacker is adjacent? No 2) Using MR2/3, does the attack count as adjacent? Yes 3) Can you use Evade when being attacked by a MR2/3 figure? See answer to #1

we have actualy house ruled melee reach so that it affects AOO . It doesnt affect the game to much because there arent that many people that have it. ANd it makes it more realistic to the abillity IMO
