I recently played a match with my brother and my friend where I had borrowed my friend's San Hill for my Seps. During the match my brother placed his General Crix close to my forces, I had peeved him enough that he rushed me, and I threw my San Hill close enough for disruption. My question is, was I right in saying that I was then allowed to move the normal two characters per turn beacause San Hill's restriction on movement is a commander effect? With the people I play, I am basically the walking rulebook, so I would like to now that I didn't screw my companions Royally, even though I still lost...Angry

well, IDK, though i THINK that the person with disruptive can DECIDE to disrupt CE, IMO though ;)

Disruptive affects San's CE only if he is within range of Disruptive, since a CE is completely shut off if a commander is within 6 of Disruptive. A thing to remember, such CE's such as San's take effect at the start of the phase, so you can't run him into Disruptive range and then activate a second character, since his CE already had it's affect.

Disruptive is not optional. You cannot choose which CE's are affect and which are not.

From the BlooMilk Glossary:
Glossary Text:

Enemy commander effects have no effect (on enemies and allies alike) within 6 squares of this character.

Characters within 6 squares cannot receive the benefits (or the penalties) of enemy commander effects until they move out of range. An enemy commander within 6 squares has its commander effect suppressed until it moves out of range. (It still counts as a commander.)

I don't see anything about the ability to make a decision.

EDIT: too slow.
