Can the nobles gain advantageous attack through a commander effect with a printed damage of zero on their card?

What if they gain +10 damage through another commander effect? Now they have +10 damage...can they gain advantageous attack now?

Yes, the can gain and use abilities that grant bonuses to atk and Dam. Having a printed damage rating of 0 does not prevent a character from attacking.

What is the kriffing character using to attack? His fists? Comon, people! That's like saying the bacta tank could attack with Thrawn giving it opportunist!

Which it can. There are oddities to the rules that don't make "real world" sense. It is just something you have to get over. Think about is as them being armed by the commander.

So basically you're saying that a mouse droid next to a Battle Droid Seargent gets +10 damage, twin attack from Worm, +4 attack from the Battle Droid Officer, an extra attack and +4 attack from Grievous Scourge for three kriffing points?! I understand that "everyday rules" don't apply. That's why I play with wierd creatures, intelligent droids, an all powerful Force, glowing laser swords, and the like. But can we PLEASE have SOME intelligence in the game?!?!?!?

Actually, no. This is covered in the rules insert for Galaxy at War. Everything except Roger, Roger would still apply, but with no damage rating, doesn't really matter.

What's really fun is giving Bacta Tanks Grenades 10 from the Rodian Trader.

I did that a few weeks ago... I had 2 Bacta Tanks, Captain Tarpals, with Rodian Trader. Bacta Tanks doing Grenades 10 twice... gimmicky, but had to try it.
