You may target enemies with Accurate Shot even if they aren't the nearest enemy. Essentially, you get Accurate Shot against characters with Accurate Shot, but it's more inclusive so it'll work with things other than attacks like Missiles or Force Grip.

Question about this: since commander effects don't apply to droids, how do droids fit in this scenario?
Would enemy droids be exempt from this effect, and if not, would allied droids be able to take advantage of the accurate effect?
My gut tells me that droids are just left out of the equation in general, but thought it was worth questioning.

This CE only affects allies, not enemy characters. So allied characters subject to the CE would be able to use it to target enemy Droids with Accurate.

Unless stated in the CE, droids, savages, and the commander itself never benefits from its own CE.
