If i have arica (who has cunning) and i have thrawn who gives opportunist, my friend said that arica can't use opportunist because it's considered stacking.

True?

false. they are two different abilities, that affect her during different times.

false. they are two different abilities, that affect her during different times.


Look at it like this, they are two different named abilities. Especially in this case they are completely 2 different named abilities. Now when it comes to stacking, 2 different named abilities that would be granting a bonus to the same stat can stack.

For example, Cunning attack would be able to stack with Advantageous attack, even though they are both giving the same bonus to a stat & also activate under the same conditions, they are two different "Named" abilities. This is also true with Oppurtunist & Deceptive.
